I have spent nearly all of my life living and working in Southwest Kansas, more working than living most of the time. Finally becoming aware of my temporary existence, I decided to pursue my “last career!” My wife, Janice and I had raised two home schooled daughters on the farm between Moscow and Liberal, and it was that time. Another revelation that impressed me at about the same time was how many miles teens can drive your vehicle in such a short span. It was time to move to town, Liberal.
One of the most underappreciated things about Southwest Kansas is the boundless opportunity that we all have. Most people that we come into contact with on daily basis are conservative, yet generous. Our cultures are diverse yet we possess open attitudes toward each others.
The business of Real Estate is more that just selling homes. Bill spends time and energy not only representing buyers and sellers, but also representing his fellow Realtors® with organizational involvement on the Kansas Association of Realtors® Governmental Affairs Committee and the Kansas Association of Realtors® Board of Directors.

I was born in Mexico City and came to the USA when I was 5 years old. I have lived and worked in Southwest Kansas all my life, graduating from Hugoton High School in 2008 with no idea what I was going to do, what career I wanted to pursue. A job came open to be a receptionist for Landmark Real Estate Center. I didn’t know much about the job but I knew it would be something I would be good at. Working part time while getting a associate degree of applied science from Seward County Community College in 2010. I was able to not only learn the duties for real estate business but also become a real estate agent.
I’ve been in the real estate business for eight years in multiple positions, and have accomplished all tasks given. My last accomplishment was obtaining my Real Estate License in 2014.
I enjoy working with people and helping them in their process of getting the home they want. Fluent in both English and Spanish, I work hard to get my customers the best service they deserve. Being a Realtor® has brought great happiness in my life and it is a career I will continue doing as long as I can!

I am an auctioneer with 29 years of experience. Now that I have received my real estate sales license I will add real estate auctions to my resume. I look forward to combining my experience as an auctioneer with the real estate sales experience of Landmark Real Estate Center, LLC.
I have been a real estate appraiser since 1991. My experience appraising agriculture and commercial properties has been a valuable background leading me to a sales license.
I come from a farming and ranching background. My parent’s farm in Beaver County was primarily wheat production, a cow-calf operation and stocker cattle. I moved to Kansas as a young adult. I started my auction career working part time with World Champion Auctioneer, Jim Carrithers. During my adult life I have worked in a Feedyard and was the County Extension Agent in Lane County. I was the Agriculture Representative and Appraisal Specialist while working at Fidelity State Bank in Garden City. Most recently I spent 14 years as an Agriculture Instructor at Seward County Community College. I completed real estate appraisals on a part time basis from 1995 to 2010. In 2010, the real estate appraisal business became my full time focus.
Education: I received my Master’s Degree in Agribusiness Management from Kansas State University in 2005. In 1982 I graduated from Oklahoma Panhandle State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Education. I graduated from Laverne High School in 1977.

Born in Cuauthemoc, Mexico, eldest of 8 children I had to quit school after 6th Grade to help raise my siblings. What I thought was normal, was in retrospective a very hard life. I came to the United States in 1983 arriving in Liberal, KS with two children and no money. After only a week I thought that we had made a big mistake, we had no place to live and no money. Were it not for some very good people, we would not have made the transition. We got some help with housing and food and then a job.
Cleaning homes and many other odd jobs later we became somewhat established. We proudly became citizens of the United States of America in 1985, and home owners in 1987.
I will never forget how I felt when we became home owners. We were a part of something that many only dream of. That feeling is what motivated me to complete school and get my GED. I became a Realtor® in 2005.
Helping people close on a home and complete their dream still makes me grateful to be a citizen, a Realtor®. There is nothing better in this life than a smile from a new homeowner. I want to see that smile.

Sharon’s top priority is her husband, Vaughn, and their six beautiful children, Matthew, Joseph, AnneMarie, Andrew, Mariana, and Dominic. She is a home school mom and some of her children also attend Sublette High School. She is very committed to her husband and her children and you will find her at most of their events. The Lower family also owns rentals in Sublette and Satanta and storage units in Sublette. In 2007, they purchased The Garden Spot, a greenhouse located at the intersection of highways 83 and 56. They are vey busy during the months of April and May with flowers and plants at the greenhouse, but together, the family manages to juggle everything.
Sharon attended Brown Mackie Business School after graduting high school. She worked for a few years before returning to Fort Hays State where she received her Bachelors Degree in Business. While attending Fort Hays State, she took many classes in Real Estate Sales, Real Estate Investments, and Real Estate Finance. Upon graduating from FHSU, she managed the Operations and later the Operations and Investments of the Trust Department of a locally owned bank in Garden City. It wasn’t until several years later that she actually decided to get her real estate license and sell property. She has been selling real estate in the Sublette/Satanta/Copeland area since 1996. She has her Graduate of Real Estate Institute (GRI) designation and has her Broker’s license.
Sharon and her family are members of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Satanta. Honesty and trustworthiness are qualities that are important to Sharon. She works very hard to possess those qualities. My father insisted that the limestone posts be set exactly on the property line. I can remember the look of limestone soldiers lined up for miles, and how proud my father was of the fences.
My career in Real Estate began way back, the day after God created dirt. I became licensed in Kansas in 1977, received a brokers license in 1979, and an Oklahoma license in 1987. I have been privileged to be involved in many of the true ‘heart of the matter’ events in the lives of the people that I serve.
